One Castle, Three Ways July 31 2026

Castles are an all-time favorite build for us. We thought we’d have some fun creating one castle, three different ways to showcase our Core Set and a few accessories.

Blocks Needed

2 – 4x1 Pillars                              4 – 2x1 Triangles

1 - 4x2 Arches                             2 – 4x2 Triangles

2 – 3x1 Arches                             4 - 2x2 Triangles

2 – 2x1 Pillars                              4 – 1x1 Flats

2 – 4x2s                                      6 – 2x1 Flats

1.      To create the entrance, lay out the 4x1 pillars. Place the 2x1 pillars on the inner edges and top them with a 4x2 arch. Add 4x2 triangles as a roof peak.

2.      To make the lower windows, place 1x1 flats on either end of a 4x1 pillar. Top them with a 3x1 arch. Repeat on the other side. Top each with a 2x2 triangle.

3.      Add towers by positioning a 4x2 block behind the windows. Create your own window with 3 2x1 flats. Top with 2x1 triangles.

To make a platform for a favorite character, simply stack basic blocks to the right height behind a tower like we did for our pirate!

Do you want to use gems? We replaced the 4x1 and 2x1 pillars with gem cubes and regular cubes for a Pirate castle with gems.

Do you want to add a pop of color? We used 2 sets of 2x1 Roof Triangles and 2 sets of 2x2 Roof Triangles.

And of course, we had to decorate a bit. Sparkling beaches, waves and a palm tree set the scene. Our Pirates took over the castle, and a mermaid is peaking up through the waves.
