How to Build a Spring Castle April 10 2026

Our “middlest” daughter has always loved anything fancy. Princess, fairies, castles, you name it, she loved it. When she was little, we always had a castle in the living room so she could play with all of her favorite princesses, all day, every day. We thought we’d make a simple spring castle with some of our Spring Pieces.
Blocks Needed
1 – 2x2 steps 2 – 4x2 Castle Towers (we used Flower Towers)
4 - 4x1 Flower Pillars 2 – 2x2 Curved Roof Peak
1 – 4x2 Castle Arch (or regular) 2 - 2x1 Flats
3 – 4x2 Blocks 1 – set of grass or other blocks to decorate
2 – 4x1 Castle Walls
1. Lay out 2x2 set of stairs, with a 4x2 behind it, think of it as an extended platform behind the stairs.
2. Place 2 4x1 Pillars on either side of the steps and top with a 4x2 Castle Arch (a regular arch works well here, too.
3. Next to the pillars, lay down 2 4x2 blocks horizontally and top with the 4x1 Castle Walls.
4. Place a 2x1Flat in the upper corner of each 4x2. Top with a castle tower.
5. Stagger the 4x1 Flower Pillars behind the 4x2s. Top with the Curved Roof Peak.
6. Add decorates! Grass or flower gardens are perfect. We also added trees and a faerie.
