Building a Cozy Living Room November 21 2025

Repurposing seasonal sets is one of our absolutely favorite ways to play. Here, we built a cozy invitation to play, complete with Rosie's favorite books.

Blocks Needed for the Living Room

1 – Fireplace Set                                            2 – Bookshelves from the London Book Shop

1 – 4x1 Brick                                                  1 – 4x1 Stocking Block

1 – 8x1 Flat                                                    1 – Small Christmas Tree

1 4x1 Flat                                                        2  - 2x1 Flat

Blocks Needed for the Couch

2 – 2x1 Flat

1 – 3x2 flat

1 – 3x1 Flat

 For the Living Room

1        Set up the Fireplace set. On top, place 1 4x1 Flat with 1 4x1 Stocking Block in front of it.

2        Place a 4x1 brick piece horizontally on top of the Stocking Block.

3        Place the book shelves on top of 2 2x1 flats, next to the fireplace.

4        Add an 8x1 Flat to the top.

For the Couch

1.      Lay down the 3x1 flat.

2.      Place the 2x1 flats on each end for arm rests.

3.      Add a 3x1 Flat across the back as a back rest.
