A Recipe for a Heart House February 09 2026

Valentine’s Day on a Saturday means it is a perfect day for play. Here’s a quick tutorial to build a simple Mouse House with our Beginner or Core Set and Gem Hearts. Don’t have hearts? Use any 1x1 block instead!

Blocks Needed

 1 – 8x2 Flat 2 – 2x2 Triangles
1 - 4x2 Arch 2 - 2x1 Triangles
2 – 2x1 Pillars 2 – 1x1 Cubes
4 – 2x1 Flats 4 – 2x1 Flats
5 -  1x1 Gem Hearts

  1. Lay out a 8x2 flat as a platform. It also works as a great threshold for the house!
  2. Place 2 2x1 pillars at the edge of the platform, then add in a 1z1 heart.
  3. Add 2 cubes, one on top of each heart.
  4. Add a 4x2 Arch.
  5. To create windows, place 4 2x1 flats next to the arch and at the end of the pillars. Top them with 2x1 Triangles.
  6. Create a Heart Banner with 3 Heart Cubes, and space them with 2 1x1 Flats.
  7. Top the house with 2 2x2 triangles.
