A Cozy Winter Cottage January 09 2026

Winter is the Warmest Season is a favorite picture book in our house, showing all of the love that we see throughout the winter months. One of your favorite builds we have done is the Springtime Cottage. One of our favorite things to do is to use our building sets year round, so here is how we made a few changes to our cottage for wintertime!

1. We swapped out the roof, and used 1 set or Roof Slants and 1 set of 2x2 Triangles.
2. We swapped the floral vines for our 2 sided, 4x1 Brick pieces. You can use just about any bricks that you have to do this!
3. We turned around the flower box. Simple and easy.
4. Our flower gardens were covered with snow, and we couldn't resist adding the snowy trees to either side. 

Now our favorite house is ready for the warmest season.
