The quality of the blocks is superb; very professionally crafted. They arrived even earlier as stated. Only thing that bothered me a little was that the color of the engraving was not consistent; some letters were lighter than others.

Unlike synthetic materials such as plastic, or synthetic marking like printing with ink, the darkness of engraving on natural wood can definitely vary from block to block. Since wood grain pattern and density is truly unique for each block, each block will engrave uniquely, even though the laser engraver is doing exactly the same thing to each block. We try to match similar darkness across letters for each name, but you will definitely notice som variation.
